Project Description:

As part of our commitment to uplift communities through education, the club organized a Financial Literacy and Family Relationship Talk for the residents of Gawad Kalinga Village in Towerville, San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. This initiative was conducted in collaboration with UST doctors, Zonta e-Club 2, and Responsible Parenthood – All Natural Family Planning Network.

The session was attended by 110 participants and featured speakers Mr. Danny Sio and Ms. Malou Abejar of Responsible Parenthood. The talk focused on essential life skills and values with the following key topics:

  1. Family Relationships and Dialogue – emphasizing the importance of healthy communication within families.

  2. Financial Literacy – covering the basics of budgeting, saving, investing, and managing debt.

The program aimed to equip families with the knowledge and tools to build stronger relationships and make informed financial decisions—an important step toward long-term stability and empowerment.
